In honor of the 21st annual International Day of Action for Rivers, we’re pleased to invite you to a film screening!
Join us on Saturday, March 17 at 2 p.m. on the Stanford University campus for a showing of “SunGanges,” a film on the epic conflict between India’s land, energy, water and people.
“SunGanges” follows three curious citizens who try to unravel the connection between vanishing rivers and massive energy projects in India. The movie, by Bay Area filmmaker Valli Bindana, takes a playful, investigative approach to a deadly serious subject, and finds many reasons for hope.
