On October 12, 2013, activists around the globe are taking action to demand that the World Bank invest in Power 4 People.
We’re calling on World Bank President Jim Kim to stop funding destructive dams and fossil fuel projects and instead support clean, local energy sources that benefit poor communities.
At the World Bank’s annual meeting, activists from around the world are protesting today in front of the Bank to demand investing in Power 4 People, instead of funding destructive projects that bypass poor communities.
- Please join this clean energy movement by writing to World Bank President Kim demanding that the Bank stop funding destructive projects and instead support clean, local power for the people who need it most. Power 4 People!
