International Rivers is holding our annual convergence of global staff members from Brazil, China, India, South Africa and Thailand in Berkeley during the week of September 9. In coordination with the opening of the exhibition, Kara Women Speak, the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art will host a public forum with these extraordinary human rights and environmental activists, who will speak about their work to protect the globe’s major rivers and the rights of communities who depend on them. The event will take place at the SVMA in Sonoma on September 12 from 3 to 4:30 pm.
